Mp3.Net is an online community whose main purpose is to build a social network with built-in commercial solutions. Our love of music and growing dissatisfaction with the way commercial music is distributed has inspired us to create a new sales model. Mp3.Net is not simply looking for customers; we are looking for dynamic members to help our community grow. Since the company has no shareholders, every member that joins and contributes in any way becomes a part-owner of the company.
We have many member classes at Mp3.Net. There are three member types that make up the individuals that form Mp3.Net – for more information about a member class please click its link on the “About the people” tab on the menu to the left. Here is a simple overview:
If you are an Mp3.Net Member, you can browse and buy music from established artists and new independent artists. You can also post reviews, blogs, pictures, play games, send messages to your friends, win prizes and much more.
If you are an Mp3.Net Artist , you can publish and manage your music on Mp3.Net. Finding your target audience will be quick and seamless on our network, no matter what type of music you want to distribute. Potential buyers will be able to download your music to their computer or order your music on CD. Best of all, Mp3.Net will handle all the logistics. We do not ask for exclusivity and we have no complications like major record labels. You set the price for your music, and Mp3.Net will give you 77.7% of your sales.
If you just have a skill that you would like to share, you can apply as an Mp3.Net Producer . Whether you are a developer, writer, designer, model, or anything in between, you can be part of our producer team. This will allow you to advertise your talents free of charge and meet people in your field. You will receive the same 77.7% of any revenues generated by your work. You will receive a percentage of the sales made by the people you refer to the network.
